| How come the advert has changed from 15 seconds to 35 seconds? It's only on this game, all the others I play are still at 15 seconds. |

Oh, oh, I'll bet anything that is a trial balloon.
If play drops off sharply, then that is a signal that users won't tolerate that change. If play isn't affected that much, then 35 second ads may become the norm across the site.
This could be interesting...

I just came here to see if anyone else hates it as much as I do! There was another game I went into yesterday that had it, sorry can't remember which.
I sure won't be hanging around if they add these to all the games! Fifteen seconds is bad enough, but 30+ is ridiculous.  |

We all know how this works. The owners of the site have to make payroll, pay rent and earn a profit. It looks like they are testing the waters to see if players will tolerate the 35 seconds ads or not. If play doesn't fall off on those games where the 35 second ads are running, then we can expect 35 seconds ads everywhere. That's business.
You all know what to do about that. If you find the 35 second ads intolerable, don't just voice your displeasure here. Vote with your feet: play other games that you like on this site, and leave those with 35 second ads alone. If you keep playing those games, then you are communicating that the longer ads are tolerable to you.
People that come onto the forums to vent their displeasure make a big noise, but they are a very small fraction of active players at any given time. The numbers will speak louder than the words.

| The first one I came across I thought it was a glitch, but didn't play anyway. On Dark Dimensions I left a 5 word comment about it and left without playing. If I see any more, I'll do the same. |
