Once you get to a certain level and speed the timer no longer moves and it actually deducts points from your score which doesn't allow you to get a really high score... Once you get to that level and the timer is not moving you can see all the different puzzles available and no time limit to finish them... the only thing is your score is reduced drastically. I once had a negative 10000+ score but since I already had 5700 score on the scoreboard this score didn't post. It's a technical error that they're working on. And yes, right now the only challenge is trying to beat your own high score because if you play the game enough you start to memorize where the pieces go.
