Those cats look like Doug when we watch 'cat' videos together. I have to keep reminding him to stay off the keyboard and away from the monitor. He gets so intently focused when we do watch though. At least he sits on my lap now, not like before.

Subs did you notice how many other people got into it too. They kept it alive. Everywhere I look there is a little bit of Elvis in the reviews. I love the picture of Jin-Jin with the saying above her. So appropriate. Razz to it.

Trivia: My Birthday, August 16th, 1977 was the day Elvis died.
I will never forget one of my girl friends showing up for the girls day out at the lake to celebrate my day.

She was boo-hooing and cried the entire afternoon. The rest of us were going "what????????" as we just could not relate to or understand her infatuation for the man.
and yes, Her mother, as I recall, had one of the paintings of Elvis on velvet or velour fabric. So cheesy. But they loved it. and him. Funny!

E I will never forget that day (thanks for reminding me of the date though). I was working for a landscape company (before going out on my own) and we were putting in drain pipes at an apartment complex. One of the tenants kept playing Elvis music to the point where it was beginning to get annoying. I mean I like Elvis, but hour after hour of Elvis begins to drive you a little nutty. Your hips start gyrating for no reason and your lip starts to quiver just so. Suddenly you have this crazy urge to find a comb and change your hair style. Finally a person comes out of the apartment and one of us asks what the deal is with Elvis music. That is when we heard the news.
Deadication comes in many forms. Here's one that only a true Elvis lover could appreciate. Elvis on velvet done with Cheetos's. Beautiful!!!!!! Rolling Eyes
