One of our beloved gamers, g8rmom, is desperately in need of prayers due to a severe family crisis. Please pray for her and her family to get through this most difficult time in her life. I know that she would be so grateful. Thanks in advance for any and all prayers.

I haven't seen anything posted by g8rmom,
I'm sorry to hear of her troubles.
Prayers going out...and it would be a good idea
to post this in the 'Granny's Playing Games' category also.

Connie, g8rmom hasn't posted anything. She reached out to a few friends here and after several conversations, I asked for her approval to post this, and she has endorsed it. Perhaps she will address this situation at some point, but for the time being she is just asking for anyone to keep her and her family in their prayers. We all know how powerful prayers can be. Thank you for your care. Smile

I don't think there's anything more powerful, TripleB.
I also think that we all can use prayers any time and for anything.
I don't think there could be such a thing as too much prayers.
We are going through a very trying time at my house right now.
Monday will be four weeks ago that my dad had a heart attack.
We have him at home now on Hospice Care. He won't get any better.
We're looking at the end of our family as it's been for forever...
so any extra prayers for our family would be appreciated too...
more than we could ever find words to be able to express our gratitude.
I hope that everyone else is doing better than some of us
as the holiday (Labor Day) approaches. Spend it with family if you can.
Our tomorrows aren't promised to us, and one never knows how many
we will be able to share with those we love. Treasure those days we can.

Thank you, TripleB, my dad had a heart attack on 8/4/14.
He passed away Friday (8/29/14). He was laid to rest Sunday (8/31/14).
The month of August was a trying time for my family.
I know the days to come will be hard for us, but as a family we will survive.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all for the prayers for my family. And thank you, TripleB, for posting the prayer request. The crisis is far from over, but a few things have happened that keep us hopeful. I'm still the worst in the family (basket-case, actually), but I need to keep "better" exterior for my son. It's so difficult. Please continue to keep us in your prayers for strength as a family & for the crisis to resolve itself soon. Thank you so much.

So sorry, Connielea about your Dad. I just saw your post tonight. May you and your family find peace and strength to get through this very difficult time. Again, deeply sorry to hear about your loss.

Thank you, TripleB.
This has been a rough week for us.
We are dealing with it in various ways.
There are some that need to reminisce and talk about their memories,
some that don't want to do that and some that want to do it both ways.
For me, it's hard both ways at different times.
But as I said, leaning on each other helps.
Again, thank you for your prayers and well wishes.
