I see he has not been online since June 25. Is he on an extended leave?
Thanks,
Kate |

It could be that his job title has changed...
or, heaven forbid, he no longer works for GDG.
I hope someone gives an answer to this. |

The company has a few other problems to deal with, and Brian might be dealing with a few things a bit more on the business side of things...
Quote: | That was where Arkadium, a New York-based casual games company, had a game studio with 90 employees. Overnight, it switched nationalities from Ukrainian to Russian. The company suddenly had to deal with changes in banks and other business support. Its political ties to the government were gone. The staff in the city of Simferopol agreed with Russia’s annexation, so the company didn’t have any turnover as a result of the Russian takeover.
“During the crisis, we lost about 15 percent efficiency because of the political distraction,” said Kenny Rosenblatt, chief executive of Arkadium. “We are in the midst of changing our official company structure from an Ukrainian organization to a Russian one. This process has been long, costly, and detailed, but ultimately a better outcome than war.”
During the sharpest part of the crisis, the company sent five employees to New York to ensure no major deadlines would be missed. Arkadium no longer sends employees to visit Crimea. The silver lining is that under Russia, the taxes are lower. And the Crimean team released a jigsaw puzzle game on Windows 8, and the title hit No. 1 |

The man is/was useless. He needs to go pick up trash somewhere instead of dealing with real human beings. I hope he IS gone! |

In order to contact him, you have to go to Arkadium.com. Even then, don't expect him to do anything for you. |

I think there are some players that don't really read the posts that have come before theirs. |

I would tend to give more thought to krazykops post.
There have been other things going on that had to be attended to. |

Starling, you seem to be repeating yourself.
I saw this same comment just a few minutes ago on one of the games.
SOOOO...what's so strange |

Those three top scores were not earned anywhere. They were just typed into the computer's data base.....I find it strange the amount of treats that just appeared from not even playing 10+ games and new accounts at that..yeah..so I am repeating myself? what of it? |

I noticed tonight there was a new game I had not noticed before, Bubble Boo. After playing a couple of games, I noticed the top 3 scores... millions. My guess was GDG/Arkadium folks testing the game. Incredible to me, as a former systems person, the way they "test". Anyway, this game has never been a beta game, & all of a sudden it's in the regular line-up.
To get to my point, I think this is the situation Starling was referring to. I, personally, don't think it's right, but then there it is. |

I noticed the new game too.
As you said, I didn't see it in the beta games either.
But, if I remember correctly, it's not the first game to skip the beta section.
As far as the top scores go, I wouldn't know how to tell
if they were 'earned' or not or whether 10 games had been played.
I know if I don't 'earn' a top score it doesn't show that I did get one.
I've noticed a lot of new players (according to their ranking) too,
I just assumed that they are coming from Facebook, at least some of them.
It seems that you took offence at my comment about repeating yourself,
I didn't mean it to appear in a smart aleck way,
so allow me to apologize if it did appear that way to you, Starling. |

Well, Connie Lea..if you visit the profiles of 2 of the top 3 it is apparent that they are new accounts and the calendar shows blue...which is less than 10 games played. As far as me taking your comment in a smart aleck way, yeah, I guess I did...but, hey I'm over it now...no biggie. And you are right g8rmom...it truly isn't fair to the gamers who were at the top of the board, if that is indeed what occurred. |

You're right about the calendar showing blue on days
that less than 10 games have been played and changing to pink (or red)
when 10 or more games have been played.
I didn't even think of going to look at any of the top players calendars.
I check my own every day that I play to see which color I'll have...
but I still didn't think about it for other players.
As for newer ranking players, I've wondered about some of the high scores that they seem to be able to hit, especially when it's much higher than players with a lot higher ranking.
But...I finally tell myself that it's really just a game...
so what does it matter in the long run...just have fun playing.
