I am sick of seeing "Jesus Christ is Lord" in giant blue letters every time I play a game. Why is only one religious perspective represented here? Are these "ChristianMingle" people so wealthy that they can literally take over a gaming site?
Love of money is the root of all evil. Please put these ads in a less conspicuous area, if you must run them at all. |

Hey Cherry

I just made my mind not to see the adds

The ads that are displayed on your screen are from GOOGLE AD CHOICES, and are not controlled by Great Day Games or Arkadium.
How GOOGLE AD CHOICES work is simple.
Ads are selected at random by cookies and tracking information based on your browser viewing history and search key words. Just about every website has META tags in the header code so that their website can be found by people typing a keyword in a search engine, such as Google.
Now, lets say that recently you visited a website for CHRISTMAS DECORATING. Lets say that the web page had "Jesus", "Christ", and "Christmas" as the keywords in the header's meta tag. Google's ad choices uses those key words as "your interests", and places those types of ads on your screen when you visit sites, such as GDG, that subscribes to Google Ad Choices and Ad Words.
IN A NUTSHELL:
The ads you see on your screen are there based on your browsing history. Nothing more, nothing less.
If you clear your cache, browsing history, etc, you will wipe out those cookies and such.
To find out more, feel free to do a browser search on these keywords: "GOOGLE AD CHOICES" and you will learn how you leave tracks on the internet, and how those tracks cater to your interests. |

krazykop's explanation is very accurate, thanks for posting it!
Despite the fact that these ads are based on your own browsing history, we know that religion and politics are two things that everyone has very strong opinions and beliefs about, so we do try to make sure that religious and political advertising is not included on Great Day Games.
We're checking with our advertisers to make sure ads like this are not shown again, thanks for pointing it out, and thanks for playing! |

| We finally get a decent ad and GDG doesn't want them on here. |

Hammer, are you referring to the "half-naked man" ad
or the "Christian-mingle" ad?
Just wondering... El Cee |

I don't know about the rest of the ladies here, but this gal opts for more half-naked-men ads. |
