One fast way of increasing your score is to get out of the small rounds the 850/1200 and 2000 points faster. Save the clock for the later rounds, because it takes to long to set up the board while you wait for your flush. You can safely use one pair or two pair to keep the cards dealing up til about the 10,000 round.
Here are some of the points you can score to get out of Round 1, 2 & 3 in one or two hands. You also get bonus points for completing the point round in 1 or two hands usually 27 points just enough to ruin everything if you are sitting and waiting to use a 2200 point str flush to top up your 2990 score.

JJJQQ - 855 pts
QQQJJ - 870 pts
JJJAA - 960 pts
AAAQQ - 990 pts
AAAKK - 1020 pts
9999A - 1025 pts
KKKKA - 1650 pts
8-9-T-J-Q - str.flush - 2200 pts
9-T-J-Q-K - str flush - 2200 pts

Use different combinations to get through the rounds faster, while you are waiting to put your Royal Flush together. In many cases you may progress so quickly you will only need one Royal to complete the round - so if you are up around the 5000. 8000 11,500 Round
as you get closer to your point quota you can add a suit card to your partial Royal Flush so if you are sitting waiting and you only need a few more points T-J-Q -K with an 8 is: 698 points

FAST COMBOS
88866 - 570 pts
88777 - 555 pts
66655 - 420 pts
77799 - 585 pts
77755 - 465 pts
99988 - 645 pts
99966 - 585 pts
99955 - 555 pts
55554 - 600 pts
22277 - 300 pts
55566 - 460 pts
44443 - 475
and a regular strait 8-9-T-J-Q is 500 points and more depending on which round you are in.

Four of a kind has a fixed point and the 5th card increases in points the higher it is. A King gets more points than a 5 for example
Swapping cards once you get the hang of it will pick up some valuable seconds you can use near the end of the game.
There's some other card -switching tricks that is part of the Adobe flash player, but I can never get them to work for me.

The points also get hgher the more you progress in the rounds

ROUND 6 - 8,000 Points

88899 - 630 points
5-6-7-8-9 str flush - 1400 pts
3-4-5-6-7 str flush - 1000 pts
4-5-6-7-8- str flush - 1200 pts

As you get more comfortable with the card layout.. you can use the ends of horizontal board to put together partial hands. Another supreme aggravation is that you get a flush mixed with either the two black or red suits, and when you're expecting 3300 points you only get 175 for a pair, or 350 or 550 for a strait.

You will need to be very careful as you progress towards the 13,000,
14,000, and 15,000 rounds because you need 4 Royal flushes, and you have to pick up an extra 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 points while you are putting the Royals together. If you fail to do this you will find yourself looking at a blank board with the clock still running and you are out of the game, because you have used up all the deck.

I hope this information is useful and makes the game more enjoyable for you. It is certainly one of the more enjoyable games, that gets more fun as you develop more skills.

I see so many players try to get this game the first time around and they either score Zero - or about 1300 points after trying for 5 minutes. And in your frustration you go away and don't bother trying again.

I hope you will stick around and give it another try. You should be able to copy and paste some of the combo scores until you get more familiar with the game.

And if you have totally had it - just get past 25,001 and you get 50 treats.

Tasharoo, you are so sweet to share your expertise with other players. I learned most of what you have posted here the hard way.

There was one thing I didn't understand; what did you mean by this?

HI Tao
The "card swap" is a feature in Flashplayer -- put your cursor on a card that you want to move, right click on the mouse - then go to the target destination of the caard you want to swap, and right click again. If you can figure out how to get the hang of it - the cards will switch places so you don't have to drag the cards to the destination you want.
I never got very good at doing it, and it takes some practising, I discovered it accidently when I was trying to speed up my moves and did a right click by mistake. There is also an option in "Mouse" ( Control Panel) called Click-Lock - enables you to drag without holding down the mouse button. I think this is the Flashplayer feature that I discovered accidently.

Give it a try ... maybe you can teach me how to do it.

All my best - Tasha
