A whole lot of things that the govt. has done is scary.
To our military and others as well. They sit around on their a**es
and try to figure out how to place the blame somewhere else.
Speaking of our military, don't forget to have your DIL show you
those links I sent her. You may know how to put the one about what
the soldier asked his wife to send him to Afghanistan
and what he and the troops do with it now that he has it on here...
if you think it's as awesome as I did. |

Well, if you sent her the link, why don't you post the
link yourself? All it is, is copy and paste. Before I learned
how to copy and paste, I used to write the link down, and
then type it in. It would take me forever to post things.
If you do not know how, tell me, and I will try to teach you
through private message, okay? I want you to learn how.
If I can learn, so can you. I have problems with memory,
and I can do it, so can you, ok sweetheart? I promise, its
not as hard as it sounds. I have seen the links you sent her.
I just don't care for Facebook is all, so I don't get on there
much at all, unless its to see something she is showing me.
I hope everyone here is well, safe, and happy.

Sass, did you see the post I put on the one
explaining how to put a picture on here?
I still had to Google it and actually look at an example.
But after I looked I tried it with just any picture I could find and it worked.
If it works that way every time
I might be able to do it again...I'm crossing my fingers |

The first few times I tried it I didn't do that.
I went back and deleted those posts
as soon as I didn't see the picture.
All I can say about that is......
"I sure am glad there is a delete button"

Not yet, Sassarina. I haven't really even taken the time to look for any.
It seems like I'm always doing something else
But I do intend to at some point in time. |

Hi Sassy,
The holiday was great.Just struggling a bit getting used to my husbands
retirement. Its harder than I thought having him home all day when I am used to being in alone.I feel sure I will get used to it eventually.Add a dog to the mix just to make things harder.Don't get me wrong I love them both to bits.Sorry if I sounded depressed. Hope you are keeping well. Lots of love Lizzy |

Hi to all you wonderful ladies. lizzy, I totally understand what you wrote about the huge adjustment it is to suddenly have your husband home full time. I always knew that day would come for me, but it came much earlier and as an abrupt jolt after I was diagnosed with cancer, since my husband had to retire in order to be my full-time caregiver and to do all the stuff I used to do. It's two sides of the coin, isn't it, LOL? On the one hand, it's great sometimes to have company when we used to be alone, or to have help with something when we need it rather than having to wait. On the other hand, it IS a huge adjustment, as you said, to lose our solitude if, like both of us, we enjoy that quiet and being able to run the household and our time as we want to do. And if your hubby is like mine, he didn't have any idea what went on when he was at work or what all is involved in running a household and our lives in many areas. But, I can say that we've made a whole new routine that works pretty well for both of us and there are some really nice aspects to being together so much. We know each other better than ever, we've made sure to add some fun things to every day that we do together, and we've learned to give each other space every day, too. Hang in there, gal, you'll work it out ... and I'm sure you'll both keep loving each other through it. Happy weekend to all! |
