I understand the reasoning behind locking a thread or even a whole topic,
however I think GDG Brian should give a better reason,
or maybe I should say, give an answer to what is being discussed
in the thread or topic that is being locked.
I feel like by just saying that the thread has become heated isn't enough.
That's just my opinion, but it seems like a reasonable one to me,
maybe because it's mine Smile Smile

I felt the same way, Connielea.

I was not angry or upset when I posted. I slept on it before deciding to post a comment. I made absolutely no remarks that could be construed as "heated" and neither did you.

The waters were calm....cooler heads always prevail so
I feel Brian acted in haste. IMO.

Thank you for posting, lovescountry.
I've seen some things that GDG Brian has locked before
and absolutely understood his reasoning to do so.
I was just surprised that he locked that one and it hadn't really got bad.
OH well, maybe he thought it was going to.
We probably surprise him sometimes (in a lot of ways) Smile Smile Smile Smile

From my perspective, I came back on Tuesday after a long weekend and saw a thread with an argument between two players that seemed to be escalating, based on the length and tone of the posts in question. This did not include your posts, ConnieLea and lovescountry! I thought my explanation and reaction was justified, but looking back on it, I can see how the timing was off, especially coming after the posts from you two.

At this point, I think things are OK and I've unlocked the thread in question.
