|
|
The treasure chest game will no longer automatically pop up every day, but you can still play the game for free once a day by clicking on the treasure chest icon at the top of the home page.
We made this change because some players experienced a problem with being credited for playing the game if they weren't logged in when the treasure chest game starts.
Let me know here if you notice this feature behaving improperly. Thanks for playing! |

It still is not giving more than 1000 treats and that is not very often, only if you are lucky enough to hit it. It pretty much eats up treats instead of helping to increase the ones we need. Thanks. shull |

It doesn't eat any treats if you only play it the first time,
that one is a 'freebie'.
It's the only one I ever play |

It really doesn't matter anymore. Treasure chest treats don't count in the standings and there are no more prizes to use them on. Another disappointing move by the GDG decision makers. |

Will there not be drawings available to enter for prizes anymore?
If that's the case,I haven't seen anything about it.
If there won't be any more drawings where do we find something
from GDG advising us of that? |

Gcards,My apologies to you.
I had not checked the other Forum sections
when I asked about the drawings.
I found the answer to my own question very quickly
In my humble opinion GDG should have taken a survey about that
before discontinuing them.
Maybe there wouldn't have been a decrease in entries
if bigger/better prizes were offered.
I know that the one time they had a chance for a free game
I let go and 'spent' a bunch of treats to enter that drawing.
Having something that is of interest goes a long way
regarding how many players will enter and how much they'll 'spend'.
As I said though, that's my own humble opinion. |

No worries ConnieLea. GDG really didn't get the word out well at all on the elimination of prizes. I do agree with you that having prizes of interest/variety would have been beneficial. Plus they could have expressed concern entries were decreasing, if that really was a concern. They could probably still do free games, no-ad days at little cost and spread out the bigger prizes, but hey, the GDG brain trust doesn't have the best record. Can you tell I am a little irked by their decisions? I guess they don't understand we can play Arkadium games on AARP or PCH or elsewhere ... Happy gaming wherever you choose to play. |

ConnieLea and Gcards: I just posted a long comment to Brian on the Suggestions section asking for more info on this decision. Hopefully Brian will get back with an answer in the next day or two. I agree with your comment, ConnieLea, that a wider variety of sweeps on a more frequent rotating schedule would have most likely appealed to a larger audience and compelled more entrants to spend those treats. Now I have a bunch that are ... well, worthless for the most part. Wonder if I can list 'em on Ebay or Craigslist ... Hmmm. LOL! |

I have seen players with more treats than I have,
and I have over 4 million of them.
But,oh well,I'll just keep watching them grow and grow and grow.
HEH HEH,that almost sounded like 'The Energizer Bunny'.
Just keeps on going and going and going.

I know what you mean, ConnieLea. I have a little over 40 million in the bank at the moment. |

I have over 32 million treats in the bank. It took many, many, many hours to get there. Now they are worthless. Thanks GDG. I was holding back using most of them until Feistylady99 used up hers LOL. Just being polite. I suspect since they changed the large payouts on treasure chest (there were days I and others got over a million) that was the main reason for less treats being applied to prizes. Whatever the reason it still irks me. |
