Several months ago, I left this site due to severe website problems (along with excessive ads.) Then I came back, and the website problems had improved. But during the past week, audio from ads has been interfering with gameplay. Okay, I get it. GDG has to pay for this site with ads, and I'm willing to sit through the cr@p before and even after the game. But during the game?! This time should be sacrosanct, because we're here to play the games, not listen to infomercials. It's very difficult to concentrate with all that annoying prattle going on. Turning off the sound is not a good option on many of the games, because the sound effects help you play efficiently.

So, thanks a lot, Great Day Ads! You've driven me away again.

Thank you for reporting this, we've asked our ad provider to remove these ads from our site. They should not be appearing on any game pages now - please let us know if you see them by using the "Email Us" link at the bottom of the game page. Let us know specifically what ads are auto-playing with sound on.

Thanks for responding. No offense, but I was pleasantly surprised. I tested the following games that had audio during play: Britannica Trivia, Mahjongg Toy Chest, Mahjongg Vacation and Mahjongg Alchemy Max. I was rewarded with glorious silence. There were some other games that had audio interference, but I can't remember which ones. If I come across any, I'll let you know.

FYI, the offending ads were situated directly to the right of the comments section.
