Well, poor little Penny has lost all her hair! But the pennies4penny.org website is back up! And so are her 'counts,' as in her ANC, whatever that stands for, all I know is that now she can move forward with the treatments. The stem cell 'stuff', and more chemo and most likely radiation this time. She has another tumor growing in her thoraxic cavity right where the other one was, leisions all along the bony part of her spine, lesions in the front of her skull bones and her right orbital...my poor little princess needs all the prayers and good karma sent her way she can get. Other that that Buddy and I are doing good. I stop in once in a while to play and read up on what everyone is doing. |

My Penelope has been, I guess the term is "chosen" to be a warrior on the 'Don't Worry Be Happy shirts.com' site. They are a charity that helps cancer patients with some of their medical expenses, because the cost can be enough to bankrupt a well-off family. They sell t-shirts, all sizes. They also have sweatshirts and tanktops, you can choose which "warrior" you wish to "sponsor" by directing it on the order form(putting their name,PENELOPE BUTTRESS, where asked.) That website is- "dwbhshirts.com" Check it out. Please. |

I know what you mean, Sassy. There are a lot of people that haven't posted anything lately. I know I'm guilty of not posting very much. I try to check in once in a while. I've just been so tired lately. They don't have an emoticon that is yawning! |

Oh Sassy, that did look like a yawn! And here I am again at 4:47am, not able to sleep all night, probably because I slept too late in the day yesterday. Easter just isn't the same around here without Aaron here to give me all his chocolate. He's not a fan of chocolate, he likes Skittles. And not the regular ones, the sour ones. The ones that make you pucker worse that the tangiest dill pickle you've ever eaten. He loves pickles too. I guess I'll have to hit the After-Easter Half Price Sales. Well, I'm going to play a few games then I have some paperwork I need to get to work on, so long for now. Pray for Princess Penny! |

Hope all you Grannys are well. Its beeen quiet on here for a while.
I have had one of those days where it strikes you that your house needs some serious cleaning doing. So thats how I have spent my day but boy do I have a beautifully clean oven.Isn't that one of the jobe we all hate the
most? Unless you can come up with something worse.
Lots of Love Lizzy |

Yes, I think cleaning the oven is the worst. But doesn't it make you feel
good after you have cleaned it? I know it does me...
Second thing I hate doing housework wise is making the bed.
My husband tears the bed up so bad, that it is like stripping a
bed and putting clean sheets on it every day.
Well today I had pre-op. Blood work, chest xray, and an ekg.
I am going to have surgery May 1st to have another port put in.
And, then I start on chemo on May 2cnd. It seems the cancer they found
was not what they thought it was at first. Its colon cancer, but it does
not stem from the first case. So, its another primary cancer. I was told
that it is very rare for this to happen, and they don't have much info to
go on, so I will be one for the books, and a guinea pig as well.
I will put this one in remission, just like the first one.
I would have to be rare...
Hope everyone is having a better day then I am.
