Restrictions on what you can post, who you can post to and where you can post. If you post to an individual your post gets locked. You have to use the message system. There are tens of thousands of people on here. Does GDG really think all of them are on anybodies friend list? If you post to the Admin your post gets locked. It doesn't matter if someone else has an opinion about what you posted, they can't respond. Then we have the possibility of COICA. Heaven help us if that passes.

So right Hammerone. There was only one person (name withheld), of all the forum users, who regularly posted to an individual. The rare and infrequent gamer who may post to catch someone's attention or a forum user desiring to aim the discussion concerning several posts from a particular person into one location/post now get slammed and penalized. They say it takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel. I guess we can say it has been spoiled for us all now.

The Great Leader "Friend" would like all gamers to remember to post only .... happy thoughts. Or your post will be locked. HAPPY, HAPPY. Thank You!

**Great Leader "Friend" is a play on words referring to the endearing name (snicker) given to all leaders of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for the past 50 years or so.

I haven't locked anything that hasn't been related to the drama surrounding posts from one person. I did this because in the past, it turns ugly very quickly, and many players have expressed how this drama creates a negative experience for everyone on the forums.

This is basic message board etiquette, and I have to enforce the rules consistently. These rules don't exist because I woke up one day and decided on them - they are based on feedback from the majority of the other players here. If nobody ever complained about these types of posts, they wouldn't be locked.

It's unfortunate and true, one person can spoil an experience for everyone else. That's life, online and offline.
