Good Morning ALL,
What a beautiful day, lots of sunshine, a bit cool, but most welcome indeed.
Sharon, how sweet of you to contribute in your own way to the economic stimulus. I was over researching visitors tax refunds, and was disgruntled to see that they discontinued it in 2007, however, if you mention to some of the shopkeepers that you are here on vacation, they may waive the tax on your purchases. It would seem that the greedy bureaucrats want you to spend, but don't want to encourage it enough to part with the few dollars for tax refunds. They used to do it at the border.
I used to live about 5 blocks from where you are staying, right in the heart of all the fashion boutiques. Bank Street and the Rideau Center, and the Laurier Plaza, are full of shops, that ensure that my paychecks were all the smaller for passing through. I used to dedicate my entire Saturdays to the Market, and boutiques, back in the 70's.
I hear John is pounding away at something outside, and must check to see if his project includes me. I am still in my waking up phase.
Another coffee, and a couple of games to see if my brain is working, is on my agenda. The dog groomers isn't open today, so Tasha has lucked out. It seems that she has been digging again, and found something that a very unique aroma.
Hope you find lots of bargains.
Take care Ladies, always a pleasure, Pat |

Good afternoon fellow gamers. Hows the world treating you guys.. Its a full moon over this way, and, they don't keep em locked up anymore, so theyre everywhere. LuBoo, hows the weather over your way...I was in Olympia this morning, and I thought of your sister. Olympia is such a pretty town, but the traffic is getting as bad as Seattle-Tacoma area. Well, tomorrow, I'm off to Sequim, which is a 2 hour drive from Tacoma. Then I'm off until Saturday morning, so you all have a nice evening.
By the way, I just got an email regarding how some hoodlums are stealing vehichles. They post a note of some type in your rear window, so that you will notice it when you back up. When you notice it, you hop out to retrieve it, and they hop in, stealing your purse, cell, cr cards, etc. So you guys be careful. Gotta go..

HI SHARON, LUBOO, ENCHANTED
So sorry about ur illness, but I am really glad that they sent you home from the hospital. You will be doing what you do while avoiding more illness, with an already compromised chest condition.
Not much news hear, yesterday was a very non-productive day, but it was sunny and cool.
Catch you later, Sharon talk to you in a few hours. Pat |

Hi Luboo, Enchanted, Sharon, and all you wonderful people
How are you doing today ? Crazy day today, starting at 8 am with a double tandem truckload of stone, to set the foundation for a carport + laneway out where the lilac bushes were. Then a Drs appt, and a telephone interview with an "animal communicator", the annual phone call to see how the dog is. I have to keep busy or John will want me out there shovelling the gravel before we get the neighbour's tractor and loader.
IT IS SNOWING !!! Not heavy just light enough to melt as it hits the ground, the first snow of the year, <<<sigh>>>>
Gotta go games & coffee, before insanity. Take care,
Sharon talk to you later.

Good morning all, slowly getting better wearing oxygen most of time, taking my meds and hanging in there. Pat would love to hear how the t/c to dog communicator goes, I am really into stuff like that. Sharon glad you are having a good time. Enchanted I know you are working today and tomorrow so get it out of your system and come back to us soon.
Take care - LuBoo |

HI Luboo
Glad that ur coming along, slow but sure, getting more oxygen than us that have to make do with contaminated air.
The Animal Communicator:8 years ago, we rescued a severely abused dog from her 7th foster home, and death row. shortly thereafter, I saw a newspaper article about a communicator, bought her book, and found a lovely lady in USA, whom I called 1X or 2X a year to help with the abused dog Kasha. It took 9 mos for her to realize that this was her "forever home", and she was loved and cherished. In Aug. 2008 she had rapid onset cancer, healthy for her checkup, 2 wks later
she had less than 5 days to live. We used the communicator to say goodbye, and to tell Kasha how much we loved her. I had asked Kasha to return to us quickly, we needed her, to help with my husbands mental illness. Kasha gave us specific burial arrangements, and the day after a deer came to her gravesite to say goodbye, and to show her respect, and appreciation. A week later we got a puppy,Tasha, that started doing things I never taught her, but had taught the other dog.Kasha was taught hand signals, and eye signals, and when I wanted her, I clapped my hands. One night I forgot myself and clapped my hands and the puppy came running from the back of the bush. The communicator said that Kasha was watching out for the puppy, and one year later Kasha is still watching over the puppy. She does not want another family, she wants to stay with us, and the bush. The puppy and Kasha have made an arrangement that whenever the puppy falls asleep, Kasha can return to get the snuggles, and cuddles for about 1-2 hours every day. Last year in Sept. 08, Kasha was to switch bodies 3 nights before the full moon. The puppy barked at a bare wall for 30 minutes, refused to switch sides because she had bonded to us, and said Kasha could come back only when she was sleeping. Perhaps, at a later time down the road, Kasha may return permanently, but she is happy with the arrangement and has the best of both worlds. She really missed the physical love. We have had many wonderful talks over the last eight years, dealing with Kasha's illnesses, and injuries, where we needed her to tell us what the problem was. We now have annual chats to checkup on puppy. The communicator has a wonderful book....send me an email and I'll send you the last chat with Kasha, and the communicator's website. Pat |
